Community

Q.I.T.E. is making a direct and economic difference to our communities by investing in Business Enterprises.

These enterprises are established to meet the needs identified within the community, and/or opportunities identified for disadvantaged target groups. Q.I.T.E. has provided funding and on-going subsidies where required, to ensure viable business enterprises can provide opportunities for work experience, skills training, and employment.

Passenger Transport Services

Q.I.T.E. Passenger Transport Services is a dedicated service providing transport from Q.I.T.E.’s offices to employees’ workplaces if they do not own their own vehicle (for a fee). In a community with limited public transport especially to remote farms, this service provides benefits to local employers and employees alike. If you are looking to hire or lease a bus please call Q.I.T.E. and we will be happy to discuss your options.

Passenger Transport Service commenced the school bus service in 2016, each day we pick up and drop off on average 40/50 children from five designated Mareeba bus stops, Ward Street, Adams Street, Yumba (Courtney Street), Lions Park (Haren Street), and Peterson Street. This service was implemented to assist families who live in these areas with no access to the state bus system or transport to get their children to school.

If you require more information please contact the Q.I.T.E. Mareeba office.
