Katrina Spies - Chief Executive Officer
Katrina joined Q.I.T.E. in 1992 as a Trainer, taking on a management role in late 1993. Now at the helm of the organisation, Katrina has seen Q.I.T.E. grow from one site to an award winning organisation in FNQ with over 95 staff in 7 locations. Katrina sits on the board of National Employment Services Association (NESA), and Regional Development Australia Far North Queensland and Torres Strait Inc (RDA FNQ&TSI). Katrina holds a Bachelor Degree in Education and Psychology.
Jillian Trout - Executive Officer
Jillian joined Q.I.T.E. in 2002 and started with the Work for the Dole contract. She has managed a number of projects and departments which resulted in the establishment of Q.I.T.E.'s Timber Creations in 2008 and QT's Early Learning Centre which opened in September 2009. These innovative small business enterprises are creating hands-on training, employment and community services for the local community. Jillian currently oversees all Q.I.T.E 's management functions reporting directly to the CEO and Board.
Sandy Whyte - Community Engagement & Development Manager
Commencing with Q.I.T.E. in 2011, Sandy has over 20 years of experience in the public and private sectors as the manager of not-for-profit, business and tourism organisations. Born and educated in North Queensland, Sandy has a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from James Cook University and is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management. Sandy brings a range of business and community contacts to the organisation and is a member of the Q.I.T.E Office’s of the CEO.
Rae Kiro - Manager of the Office of the CEO & Executive Assistant to the CEO
In her current role, Rae is the Manager of the Office of the CEO & Executive Assistant to the CEO. Rae liaises day-to-day with the Executive Officer and Department Managers, Q.I.T.E. Board of Directors and Key Stakeholders to ensure that the Office of the CEO's is run in an efficient and effective manner. Rae also manages the Support Services team who provide vital services to the "Office of the CEO" the Senior management team. Prior to joining the Office of the CEO, Rae was the Recruitment Manager and has worked with Q.I.T.E. since 2008. Rae provides strategy support to the CEO, including Executive Support Services. Rae has an extensive background within the Telecommunications/IT Industry, and has over 13 years experience in varying roles from Account Management to Business Development.
Mat Woodcock - Recruitment and Training Services Manager
Mat joined Q.I.T.E. in 2000 as a Labour Hire Consultant and Manages the Recruitment and Training Services departments. Mat has a Bachelor of Business (HRM).
Alita Jennings - Jobs Services Australia Support Manager
Alita joined the Q.I.T.E. team in 2002. She commenced as a Job Placement Consultant then worked under the Job Network contract, moved to the Community Development Employment Program and is now with Job Services Australia as the Support Team Manager.
Robert Larkin - Job Services Australia, Manager Atherton
Rob has been a Q.I.T.E. team member for over ten years. Originally employed as a Job Search Training Facilitator, and subsequently as Employment Consultant, today Rob is responsible for Q.I.T.E.'s Atherton office. Rob manages the day to day business operations and the professional service dleivery to Q.I.T.E. customers.
Patricia Vallance - Job Services Australia Manager, Innisfail
Pat has worked in the employment Services industry in Innisfail since 1987; delivering Federal Government employment programs including CYSS, SkillsShare, Job Club, New Work Opportunities, Job Train, the Personal Support Program, Job Network and more recently Job Services Australia.
Rodney Kilpatrick –Corporate Services Support Officer
Rodney joined the Q.I.T.E. team in September 2006 and is currently responsible for the Financial operations of the organisation including providing vital support services to the Office of the CEO as a member of the Support Services Team. Rodney has several years of working in the Finance sector and is well placed to ensure that Q.I.T.E. meets and exceeds its financial obligations.
